Matt and Smith discuss their work analyzing agroforestry trends and data from the Census of Agricultura and the National Agroforestry Producers Survey - the first national survey of agroforestry producers in specific. This survey includes data from almost 6,000 agroforestry producers and provides valuable insights on topics such as species selection in agroforestry, scale, producer motivations, establishment strategies, perceived benefits, challenges, costs, management trends, market trends, sources of knowledge, and more.
